Having a baby, Can we boat?

Many years ago that wonderful day came when I found out that I was going to be a parent. Turns out there is something I love more than my boat - my kids (My wife is assumed here). I had 8 months to contemplate all the changes about to happen to my life/lifestyle. Will we still be able to boat? Can you bring a baby on a boat? How would it work (if it even did...)? Well, 17 years later I can tell you it worked. My family is closer, we do things together, we play games together, we talk, we all have responsibilities and rely on each other. Who would have thought!
Well, my first born had his first sailing trip when he was 2 1/2 weeks old, and my second set sail at 2 1/2 months (but she was born in December). This Blog is meant to be a forum for families to learn all the tricks (and tribulations) to becoming a boating family. Hope you read on, and please feel free to ask ANY question. That sometimes brings out the best in what we have to offer.
